Artezio Quality Management System Is Again Compliant to ISO 9001:2008 Standard

International company Intercertifica-TÜV, along with TÜV Thüringen, has confirmed the ISO compliance of Artezio quality management system (QMS) for the 11th time.

The ISO 9000 family of standards is a series of international standards. These standards describe the requirements for a quality management system of organizations and companies. More than 190 countries have adopted ISO 9000 as national. An ISO certificate is not an award, but must be reassessed regularly in accordance with the recommendations of the certification body, usually annually. The current version of standards “ISO 9001:2008” has the newest requirements for quality management systems. Different companies of any size or industry focus use this version.

During the year passed from the previous surveillance audit Artezio QMS got important upgrades and new practices. The company’s gained a corporate social network based on its internal portal. Artezio’s in-house time management system ART-Time has got new functionality and now allows to manage budgets of projects. Some changes have concerned the company’s project management system based on JIRA software tool. As a part of R&D activity Artezio team has developed and introduced JIRA Kanban Board plugin, contacts tracking system and invoices calendar plugin as well as automated project cards. Among other changes in QMS are innovations in such practices as time management, workload control, contract and invoice management. A new practice of Continuous Integration was also set up.

It’s worth mentioning that Artezio got its first ISO certificate in 2003. In 2009 the company’s QMS was fundamentally changed and enhanced, which allowed Artezio to pass the audit for the latest version of ISO standards – ISO 9001:2008. It means that this year Artezio QMS passed the ISO 9001:2008 audit for the 4th time in a row.
