Artezio participated in Global Sourcing Forum + Expo in New York on November 11-12. Contacts with key players in the sourcing industry were established as well as with potential clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
Global Sourcing Forum + Expo hosted over 100 exhibitors from 25 countries as well as over 1,000 attendees all present to discuss, debate and learn about the challenges affecting Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and IT Outsourcing (ITO) services and capabilities in a global economy.
With regional showcases for Latin America, Central & Eastern Europe, Far East Asia, Egypt and India, the event is one of the top events held in the United States on the sourcing industry, gathering industry experts, vendors and existing and potential clients. Heavy emphasis was given to opportunities in a down market with one speaker saying: “don’t waste a good crisis.” Attention was also given to new trends such as the rapid emergence of new global or niche players (such as Egypt and Viet-Nam) and new trends to find solutions at lower costs such as crowd sourcing.
Artezio’s presence at Global Sourcing Forum + Expo, after attending the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Orlando in October 2009, demonstrates Artezio’s continued commitment to raising its visibility in North America and in positioning itself as a strategic player in what remains a top market as North American companies still account for 70 percent of offshore outsourcing spending according to the 2009 A.T. Kearney Global Services Location Index.
